One of the many issues that we discussed in the classroom was the idea of having a virtual classroom. After reading articles and watching videos we were asked for our thoughts on the following questions:
1. How can virtual schooling like this enhance a student's learning?
It can help student's learning because these days many students like computers and computer games. So by using virtual learning students are able to learn using computers.
2. How can it hinder a student's learning? A hinderance is that students don't have direct interaction with other students and the teacher. And in the case that technology fails what would students have, they would not be able to learn til the problem is fixed. Plus, not all students have access to a computer. Also I know that one of the problems that I would face is actually focusing on the tasks because with a computer I could do so many other things like get on facebook or play games instead of learning.

Name some specific factors about the Florida Virtual School that accentuate your points FLVS allows not only students from Florida to participate in their classes but students from other states as well. It allows students to participate online so that they ca n take accelerated classes. FLVS teachers must be certified in Florida and all 1,100+ FLVS teachers hold Florida teaching certificates in the subjects they teach. In addition, many hold advanced degrees and 113 are national board certified
